Another beautiful family

I am always amazed at the beautiful people I get to photograph and this family was no exception. We had perfect weather, thankfully, and a great location here in Owasso. It isn't very fair of me to post a sneak peek and not include everyone so here is a group shot first and I added a couple of individual family shots too. Thanks for letting me hang out with you all tonight. I will be talking to you soon :)

New Author: Shawn Gottschalk

I had the privilege of photographing Shawn Gottschalk before her first book was released this summer and was thrilled when she asked me to do another session for her next book. I also got a copy of her book today and it is so sweet - the ABC's that every mother can relate to. Check it out! We had a fun shoot today inside and then braved the cool wind for some outdoor pictures as well. Here is a quick sneak peek for you...I will talk to you soon :)

Finished poster :)

Jadon's posters were finished today so I had to share it. She is an amazing young lady and I hope these poster help tons more people to donate. Seeing who you are helping, makes it more meaningful. I am happy to have had a tiny part in helping her.

The Stunning Miss "A" - Senior Pics

I was so honored when "A" chose me to do her Senior Pics. She is smart, kind, and obviously beautiful. I had so much fun visiting new locations around downtown Tulsa with her and her family. (I think I owe her dad a Spaghetti Warehouse dinner for being our chauffeur this evening ;)) I hope you enjoy your sneak peek.

And a little Tulsa trivia....did you about the "Center of the Universe" is in Tulsa? I might be one of only 3 people that didn't know about it but it is seriously a cool little spot that you should visit if you are close by :) You can see part of it in that last picture.
End of random Tulsa trivia....

ZLB Plasma Adopt-A-Patient ambassador

A dear friend called to get a few pictures of her daughter for a poster to be used to increase awareness and support for plasma donation. She is such a beautiful girl and I was thrilled to fit in a quick session at the park today. I asked them to write a little about bit the program to educate us.

"Jadon was chosen to serve as the ambassador for Adopt-A-Patient program with ZLB Plasma and IDF.
The Adopt-A-Patient program was developed to show the relationship between patients, donors and employees. Donors and employees will be able to see how important of a role they play in the lives of our patients, and the life-saving medications that are produced. Patients will gain a better understanding of the importance of plasma donation, and see first hand the regulations that are in place to produce the safest, highest quality plasma for their life-saving medications. It provides an overall "sense of good" for our donors, patients, and employees to see the important roles they play in this continuous circle of life. Jadon will be asked to go into the center and speak with the center donors and staff and attend certain community events to help increase awareness of plasma-based therapeutics and the impact they play in her life. Jadon will have her own Adopt-A-Patient poster hung up in the centers.
Jadon sparked the entire program. After we were in Florida and managers started hearing her story, the requests for having patients come to speak at their center went through the roof!"

And baby makes 3....Miss "K"

36 hours after I met her mom and dad, Miss "K" decided it was time to meet them too. Babies seem to have their own schedule, even in the womb, and 5 weeks before they were expecting her, this precious baby girl arrived. She was so tiny and sweet and just perfect. I could have held her all day! They are such a fun family and had lots of fun ideas for her newborn pictures. Here are a few sneak peeks for you all...I will talk to you soon.

Can you believe these smiles and eye contact in a 5 pound sweetie?

And Happy Halloween (here is a little secret...that is a doll outfit!!)
