6 month old Baby "B"

Baby "B" is so stinking cute! I just loved the little double chin he was sporting. Seriously adorable! I was contacted about 6 months ago from a lady in CA who had found my site and wanted to buy a gift certificate for a friend here in Owasso. I didn't realize until later that her friend was also an old friend of my husbands. It always surprises me how small the world really is. I had a great time hanging out with you all today and hope you enjoy your sneak peek of your handsome little man.

He'll be famous one day....

Just remember that you saw him here first ;) My nephew is a super talented musician at the ripe old age of 13. He wrote the sweetest song for my Grandmother for her 85th birthday (the reason we were in Alabama) and is an all around good kid. I took a few fun pictures of him with his guitar while I was there. The processing was all over the place trying to decide what feel I wanted them to have but here are a couple of my favorites.

Portrait Party in Alabama

I visited my family in AL last week and my sister set up a portrait party while I was there. It was so fun to meet her friends and photograph new faces :) I have a lot more pictures to post but wanted to get these sneak peeks up as soon as I got back.

The face behind the photography ;)

I am so rarely IN pictures that I started a little blog to make myself take a picture with me in it each week in 2009. My kids have thousands of pictures taken of them each year by moi but I wanted them to be able to remember that I was there too all these years ;) The pictures are not a reflection of my photography at all so I wasn't going to even mention it here (most are set up by me but shot by one of my kids, my hubby, or the timer!) but then thought you might like to get to know me and my family a little better before you invite me into your home to meet your family. Homeschool pictures

I had the privilege of doing our homeschool co-op's school pictures last week. We had kids from 0-17 (I think) show up for the pictures and they turned out so well. We really have a group of beautiful kids! Several ordered custom Valentines that turned out so cute too. If your co-op needs pictures, please let me know and I will send you the information.
Here are a couple from Friday. I brought 4 solid backdrops and we changed them out as we went. I bought 4 new colors last week too but haven't had a chance to photograph them. I plan to this week and will get the new colors up here for you to see.

I haven't been a good blogger this month. I'm sorry. Business always slows down in January so I use this time to get caught up on paperwork and things that I have been neglecting around the house. I thought I would post these that I did the end of the year to show that I can be an unbiased photographer (even if my child told his first grade teacher that he only likes orange when red is beating it ;)).
