A Mother's Alphabet

YAY! I was contacted last December to do a session for a wonderful lady who had written a children's book and needed pictures for the jacket. I just got word yesterday that her book is out! Here is part of her email:

With great joy I'd like to announce to all of you that as of September 2, 2008 my book, 'A Mother's Alphabet' will be available for purchase. The book is a culmination of my feelings and thoughts about being a mother put into words. When I looked at the things I'd written over the past years, each 'idea' seemed to have a letter of the alphabet that it correlated with. For example, and one of my favorites is; "J is for jump - which is what my heart does when I hear your name". Max and Kemi love for me to read it to them and I hope others will enjoy it just as much. It will be available at Barnes and Noble, Amazon, Borders and bookstores September 2, but you may have to request it as it is going to be actually distributed over the next few months and may not actually be 'there' yet. In the meantime, if you would really like it sooner, my publisher has given me a webpage on their site where you may go and order it directly from their warehouse and they can send it now. Playing Dress Up

I got to hang out with Miss "A" tonight while she played dress-up in her mom's wedding gown. She looked so beautiful and her mom is so tiny that the dress almost fit her! Mr "T" is ONE!

Another of "my babies" turned one. I have had the honor of photographing "T" since he was a newborn and have watched him grow into a toddler this year. It is so cool to see him walking around and playing. He still has the most beautiful blue eyes and is such a sweetie! Happy (late) Birthday! Enjoy your sneak peek!!

Precious Baby "D"

I am so thrilled that my good friends had one more baby for me to photograph :) He is completely adorable and a perfect addition to their family. Here are a few quick shots from today's session:

Owasso Magazine!

I am so honored to be a part of a great new magazine, Owasso Magazine. I enjoyed meeting and photographing many amazing people in Owasso during the last month. Owasso Senior '09!

I got the meet this beautiful Senior girl, "E", tonight and definitely enjoyed photographing her. She is beautiful inside and out. She was up for anything and we went to several different locations for our shoot. So much fun! I hope you enjoy your sneak peek :)
